Dance Classes   Ballet Dancing Dance Conservatory

School of LaDiego

The School of LaDiego embodies ballet, jazz, tap rhythms, hip-hop and funk, which creates this fusion we call contemporary dance. Contemporary dance is a genre of concert dance that employs systems and methods found in modern dance and postmodern dance, as well as classical ballet. Contemporary dance draws on modern dance techniques as well as newer philosophies of movement that depart from classical dance techniques by altogether omitting structured form and movement.

The school is designed to empower individuals to think beyond limits while challenging all aspects of the mind, body and spirit. Besides the positive re-enforcement and atmosphere students will gain knowledge in a set of coordinated movements, which are designed to develop a sense of rhythm, balance, to stretch and strengthen muscles and mobilize joints. These skills of development gives students a chance to focus building on strong and lasting technique and relationships. This experience crosses boundaries in every level of dancer from our tiny-tots to professional artist.

The teaching staff is well trained in their area of expertise. The staff is comprised of credentialed professional educators with diverse backgrounds in concert and commercial dance along with musical theater background. The teachers are encouraged to train each individual as if they were to become the next Brian Freidman, Dave Scott or Mia Michaels.

We, at The Dance Conservatory want our students to gain an excellent vocabulary for dance performance and choreographic progression while linking Dance Technique movements to a diverse range of music to develop your range of musical interpretation. Dance is fun and an excellent way to exercise while you develop the basics of a dance vocabulary, increase flexibility, strength and stamina using traveling steps, elevation and balance.

Live, Love and Learn at The Dance Conservatory.
